Special Process Engineer
Job Description
- Aerospace division of Eaton has an opening for Special Process Engineer to be based at Batam, Indonesia
- Support the daily operations of the Heat Treatment and Surface Treatment Department.
- Lead troubleshooting and investigating efforts for any process issue.
- Perform engineering studies on potential projects with special process requirements.
- Initiate and lead projects in support of manufacturing process Continuous Improvement.
- Provide leadership in support of product transfer activities and other assigned projects.
- Create supporting documents such as ECN, Manufacturing Assisted Documents, Standard Work and Operator Training plans etc.
- Provide capacity review and planning support.
Basic Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Material/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
- Up to 5 year’s experiences in heat treatment for mechanical components manufacturing in Aerospace or related industries. Candidates who are familiar with Aerospace industry specifications and requirement e.g. NADCAP or AS9000 will have a distinct advantage.
- Highly knowledgeable in Passivation and related surface treatment processes.
- Highly knowledgeable in the operation of heat treatment equipment such as vacuum and atmospheric furnaces.
- Knowledgeable in Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Techniques. Candidates with Six Sigma Green belt and above certification will be preferred.
- Experienced with weld quality verification techniques and standards preferred but not essential.
